Reporte de actividades es una serie de presentaciones en Beta-Local donde se discuten proyectos recientes, investigaciones o intereses. En esta ocasión el artista Alejandro Quinteros presenta:

– El proyecto Planetary Collegium desarrollado en el Center for the Advanced Inquiry in Integrative Arts (CAiiA) junto a un grupo doctoral de investigadores transdisciplinarios basados en The School of Arts and Media en la Universidad de Plymouth, Reino Unido.

– Nuevos proyectos de prácticas de transtecnología con Carola Cintrón en la Escuela de Artes Plásticas.

– Nueva conferencia sobre la investigación MEDIACITIE5, relacionada a las prácticas reflexivas en la colonialidad global y el derecho a la ciudad sintiente.

Alejandro Quinteros was born in Lima, Peru in 1968. He is an electronic media artist- sculptor, and researcher based in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He is a professor at the Department of Fine Arts and a graduate advisor for The School of Architecture at The University of Puerto Rico. He directs The Art and Technology Workshop and teaches interactive design, photography, 3D design, trans-technological practices and sculpture. His work has been exhibited in Chicago, New York, Canada, Barcelona, France, Peru, Mexico, Serbia, Greece, and Puerto Rico. He received a BFA and a MFA from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago in 1993 and is a PhD candidate with The Planetary Collegium, Centre for the Advanced Inquiry for Interactive Arts (CAiiA). School of Art and Media at The University of Plymouth, UK.
